Me again... Yep, my latest test render inspired me, and I thought up a lot more things to add to this whole sequence. It'll add several days (weeks?) of extra work, but I'm excited about the new things, and am really liking how this is turning out. It just means I can't start on the other animations just yet... unless I work on more than one at a time, and jump between them as I want, ...which is looking like a good idea!

slow down Feeshur ! haha

I technically could project on to the house but it is not suited due to the trees in the front yard , otherwise I could set up across the street. I have seen that done for Halloween and it is very cool. The guy who did has an accommodating neighbour across from him. I suppose I could do that for the garage , but we just built that great facade for it . I guess the facade could be the screen but I had not really thought about that way. Interesting...

I have seen other projection type ideas for Xmas time. Nothing too crazy.

Yes, probably DVD and download. Some projectors are now are driven by Media cards so that could free up your PC AND your DVD player ! Thats one of the reasons we want to do downloads.

KISS (of course) has done huge projections like this outside the venues where they play. I recently saw a building projection done for AC/DC that used process live footage for a more graphic look. That was cool.....AND LOUD.

I talked to the company in Europe that does these things and they occasionally laser scan the buildings, but usually just hand built. THey did not mention if built from blue-prints , or using photos to build topography auto-magically , which I think is possible now. They use multiple projectors.

imagine people coming to see your projections and then see even more with subliminal set augmented demonic realities (placement planned ofc) when they hold up their own mobile devices to see your projections... just an added feature someone else shall do soon.

Can anyone tell me how to rig a massive outdoor set like this or onto a building?
What is involved; lasers , powerful projection lights, what sort of alignment and placement is required, is there just one projection or many?
Besides all the amazing creative to develop it - what is need to put on the show?
thx
